New track from The National
Taking on a more grandiose approach than past releases, The National have released a new track that can be streamed over at Stereogum titled "Exile Vilify." One of their more low-key and slow moving tracks featuring mainly piano, a string arraignment and Matt Berringer's soothing baritone vocals as it relies on it's emotive character. The song was written for the upcoming video game Portal 2

Could never really get into this band. Just never clicked for me. That being said, this song is pretty great. I'm a sucker for slow piano songs.
