Preview: Euphorie at EMPAC (now cancelled, unfortunately)

UPDATE - Unfortunately, the event has been cancelled. Here's the memo I received from our friends at EMPAC:
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Thursday, May 5th's performance of EUPHORIE has been cancelled. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We are working to reschedule the performance for the fall."

I've been going to events at EMPAC for several months now, and while some have impressed me more than others, every single one was a breath of fresh air. To close out the Spring events calendar, they've got something that appears truly epic in store: Euphorie. Two French artists have constructed a 40 minute performance that incorporates "video, sound, movement and accidents of life". I was sold just by reading various descriptions, but check out the video below if you really need any convincing.

If you haven't been to EMPAC before, I really suggest coming out to this since this is their last real event until the Fall. So venture to do something a bit out of the ordinary and don't miss out on this! The performance is this Thursday, the 5th, at 8pm.
